Every item in our range has its own unique delivery time that is up-dated daily to reflect changes in the supply-chain. Many items of furniture are manufactured to order or made abroad and the delivery time reflects the time it takes us to deliver it to your home. Long delivery times are not unique to Blue Ocean Interiors, they are the norm with virtually all UK furniture retailers. By making and delivering your furniture to order we are able to offer you the broadest choice of furniture possible, allowing you to choose the item that is just right for you and which will give you pleasure for many years to come.


Delivery Times

Delivery times vary according to the product and the manufacturer. Approximate times are given next to each product description but these may vary depending on how busy the manufacturer is when you place your order. We will endevour to notify you as soon as possible of any delays we are made aware of. Generally, when more than one item is ordered all items will be delivered at the same time.


Delivery Costs

The prices shown on our Website include home delivery anywhere within mainland Britain on orders over £300 for orders under £300 a surcharge of £25 will occur. Deliveries to the following postcode areas will also incur a surcharge which will be notified by email the next working day after the order is received, PH, PA, IV, KW, AB, DD, KY, BH, DT, EX, PL, TQ, TR, CT, CF, LD, LL and NR. We use a third party 1 Man delivery service where goods are delivered to the ground floor doorstep only, should you require a 2 Man delivery team, please contact our sales team for prices and further information. For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.



If you are having work done in your home please be aware that building projects are frequently delayed. If you are unable to take delivery of your furniture when it is ready we will store it for you free of charge for 21 days. We can not store items beyond this time, if items are still in storage with us after this period the order will be cancelled and a surcharge of 10% deducted from your payment, the remainder of your payment will then be refunded to you.


Damage in Transit

If your furniture sustains minor damage during shipping or contains a manufacturer’s defect. If this occurs you must inform Blue Ocean Interiors within 48 hours on 01484 465125 or use the Contact Us page for other ways to get in touch. We will arrange for the goods to be repaired in your home if possible, alternatively we will arrange to have them returned to the manufacturer. If items need to be returned please keep the original packaging. All returns and repairs must be arranged through our Customer Service Department (we are unable to pay for returns which we have not authorised).


Missing Items

If an items you have ordered is missing from your delivery, you must inform Blue Ocean Interiors within 48 hours on 0800 1313700 or use the Contact Us page for other ways to get in touch.


Returns Guarantee

You may cancel your order at any time between the placement of the order and 14 days from the day after delivery. We offer a money back guarantee for non made to order items. To receive a full refund you must return the goods with original packaging in as new and unused condition. We can also arrange for a collection service, the charge for collection is £75, except for postcode areas PH, PA, IV, KW, AB, DD, KY, BH, DT, EX, PL, TR, CT, CF, LD, LL and NR, the collection price for these areas is available on request. Should you wish to return your goods for any reason, you must contact our customer service department in writing within 14 days of delivery. Any money which you have paid will be refunded within 30 days. A full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves. Any items returned that do not conform to these conditions will be subject to a surcharge or will be returned to you at your expense.
